During a time when service clubs are especially challenged with restrictions to gathering and in-person fundraising, the Midland District Shrine Club continues to support healthcare at Georgian Bay General Hospital. A few members met at the hospital on September 16, 2020 to present a cheque for $1,000 to Christine Baguley, Philanthropy Officer with the GBGH Foundation.
These funds will support the most critical needs at GBGH this year. Projects include COVID-19 preparedness and response, the purchase of BiPap ventilators, defibrillators and crash carts, and an electronic medical record to ensure the best communication with care teams at our partner hospitals.
