Lead singer Angela Penfound (a.k.a. Kitty) is the daughter of Jerry
Penfound, an original member of The Hawks. She started singing in
her school choir, but didn’t begin performing until the 1990s with the
pop/rock band Cherry Pop. After a few years, she moved on to start
Angelfire and Champagne Kitty before forming Kitty and the Boyz.

Local guitarist and vocalist Steve Charlebois, keyboardist and vocalist
Anthony Buffone, drummer Dave Wright, and bassist and vocalist
Chas Laurie together form “The Boyz”.
