MRI
“Because we were able to perform the MRI right here at
GBGH, we were able to urgently diagnose the patient and
move them to surgery faster than would have been possible
otherwise. That speed of diagnosis helped limit the degree
of neurological damage the patient will live with.”

ICU Ultrasound

“We have recently cared for several patients admitted with
ascites of the abdomen. The fluid accumulation was causing
significant discomfort, pain, and impairment of organ
function. Under ultrasound guidance, our physician was able
to accurately locate and safely drain the fluid at the bedside.
This provided timely symptom relief and reduced the need
for additional imaging or being sent to another hospital.”
