At GBGH, we perform approximately 36 ultrasounds every day—each one a vital step in diagnosing,

treating, and caring for our patients. These scans help our emergency teams act quickly and give patients
the answers they need.
GBGH currently has three modern ultrasound machines, but with the addition of mammography, one will
be fully dedicated to that program. That leaves us short, especially as demand continues to grow. The

new machines offer crystal-clear images, enhanced detail, and advanced tools that help our technicians
work faster and more effectively.
By supporting the purchase of a new ultrasound machine, you’ll ensure that every patient—whether in

emergency, diagnostics, or mammography—receives timely, accurate care.

Ultrasound Table

An ultrasound table is specifically designed to enhance the experience and outcomes during ultrasound
procedures for both patients and sonographers. These tables are cushioned to provide extra support and
can be adjusted to various positions for comfort. They also allow the sonographer to adjust the table for

precise positioning of the patient, facilitating the exam and improving the quality of the ultrasound images.
With the purchase of a new ultrasound last year, adding another ultrasound table ensures that each of our
ultrasound rooms is equipped with the proper equipment for optimal scans.
