What We Need
Laparoscopic Tower
$61,412 | Replacement
The laparoscopic tower plays a crucial role in laparoscopic surgery,
as it provides surgeons with a clear, magnified view of the patient’s
internal organs. The tower comes equipped with a high-definition
camera and screen, a light source, insufflator (pump that inflates
the abdominal cavity) and all the connections and controls for
laparoscopic instruments.
With two operating rooms, and very high volumes of laparoscopic
surgeries, GBGH must have two modern towers to provide excellent
surgical care. The older tower is old and outdated (from 2009), and
unreliable, which has resulted in cancellation of procedures and
surgeries. A new tower will ensure consistency between our operating
rooms and give every patient the best possible experience.
