and respectful toileting support is essential—not only for comfort,
but for infection prevention and overall wellbeing.

Washer / disinfectors play a critical behind-the-scenes role in
patient care. These specialized machines thoroughly clean and
disinfect bedpans and urinals at high temperatures, ensuring

items are safe for reuse and reducing the risk of infection for
patients and staff. They provide a reliable, standardized process
that protects some of the hospital’s most vulnerable patients.
GBGH’s current units are aging and unreliable. Replacing them
will ensure consistent, hygienic care and reduce strain on staff.

Because when patients must rely on others for their most basic
needs, the systems supporting that care must be dependable,
dignified, and worthy of their trust.
