Power Shower Chair

Personal hygiene is a fundamental part of dignity,
comfort, and recovery—yet for many hospital
patients, showering can be physically demanding or
unsafe without the right support. All patients on 1N
are assisted with showering one to two times each
week, making safe bathing equipment essential.
A power shower chair supports smooth, controlled
movement into the shower, provides height
adjustment and tilt to support patients of varying
sizes and mobility levels, overall improving comfort
while reducing strain and injury risk for staff.
The current chair has reached end of life, and staff
are increasingly challenged by the limitations of
non powered alternatives. Replacing this essential
equipment will support rehabilitation goals, protect
staff from injury, and ensure patients receive
personal care with dignity and respect.
