Surgical Shaver
$16,392 | Replacement
In orthopedic surgery, a shaver – also known as an
arthroscopic shaver – is an essential tool used for
precise removal of tissue, bone, or cartilage. It also
allows for controlled cutting and shaping of tissues,
which is crucial for repairing or reconstructing joints and
other structures.
This unique tool works with the Laparoscopic Tower and
is used in all orthopedic surgeries at GBGH. The old unit
is obsolete and no longer works with the technology
in our operating rooms. Replacing this important tool
is a priority to ensure that surgeries aren’t delayed or
cancelled.
Laparoscopic Camera – Urology
$10,213 | New
Investing in a urology-specific laparoscopic camera for
our hospital is crucial to enhance both patient outcomes
and surgical efficiency. The precise, high definition
camera offers clear and detailed views of the urinary
tract, including the bladder, ureters, and kidneys,
which are essential for precise diagnosis and surgical
intervention, helping surgeons more accurately identify
and differentiate between healthy and diseased tissues.
This new camera will replace a much older model, which
lacks precision and definition.
