What We Need
Neonatal Vital Signs Monitor
$15,980 | Replacement
Every birth is a miracle. But for some newborns, those first moments are critical.
Approximately 1 in 10 babies need help to begin breathing at birth. In those
1
moments, every second counts—and having the right equipment can mean the
difference between life and loss.
A neonatal vital signs monitor is an essential tool that tracks a newborn’s
response to resuscitation efforts—oxygen, suction, compressions—and provides
real-time feedback to guide care. It’s a lifeline for our tiniest patients.
Currently, GBGH has only one monitor, but hospital standards require one in
every birthing room. With your support, we can add a second unit—ensuring
every delivery is equipped for immediate, expert care. This new monitor will also
serve in the OR during c-sections, expanding its impact even further.
