Labour and delivery are among the most powerful moments in a person’s life,
and we believe every patient deserves comfort, safety, and dignity throughout
that experience. Modern birthing beds are designed to provide just that—
with adjustable positions, drop-down sides, and quick-response features
that support both patients and care teams in every situation, including
emergencies.
Currently, GBGH has two modern birthing beds and one outdated unit that’s
more than 15 years old. It no longer adjusts or adapts, and it’s no longer a
comfortable or safe place to welcome new life.
With your support, we can replace this aging bed and ensure all three birthing
spaces—two delivery rooms and one assessment room—are equipped to
provide the best possible care.
