Each year, Bill Schumacher honours the memory of his beloved wife, Arlene, by making a gift on January 14 – their wedding anniversary. In 2025, Bill made a $14,000 gift to specially recognize this important date, but he also chose to invest an additional $19,000 in December 2024. Both gifts are designated to the MRI Fund, and are being generously matched by FDC Foundation, for a total impact of $66,000.
Bill’s generosity over the past seven years has been integral to equipping Georgian Bay General Hospital with vital tools and technology – including crash carts & defibrillators, ECG technology, new ultrasound machines and the MRI.
