The Donor Relations & Stewardship Officer role is integral to the success of fundraising at Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation. This position executes a range of stewardship, donor relations and donor communications activities to engage and acknowledge donors in order to foster the positive donor relationships that are critical to philanthropic support of Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation. The Foundation boasts a cross-functional work team model and the Donor Relations & Stewardship Officer is expected to play a key role within our fundraising theme model.
The successful incumbent will be the lead and primary contact for most Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation donors and will be responsible for initiating and creating meaningful engagements with donors throughout the duration of their gift and beyond. You will proactively engage and create unique opportunities with various types of donors that include individuals, corporations, foundations, employees, etc., to foster a positive donor experience that will influence giving behaviour.
