Midland Civitan Club Continues Its Legacy of Supporting Local Health Care

For more than 25 years, the Midland Civitan Club has been investing in the health and well-being of North Simcoe. Their latest gift is another example of that lasting commitment, with a $5,000 donation to the Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) Foundation in support of a new Stress Test Machine.

Inspired by community member Ken King’s patient story, Club members recognized the importance of this equipment and the difference it can make for patients accessing cardiac care close to home.

Over the decades, the Midland Civitan Club has supported numerous hospital initiatives, contributing to essential equipment, technology and programs that help strengthen care at GBGH.

Their generosity reflects a deep appreciation for the importance of having a local hospital and ensuring it has the tools needed to care for our community.

The GBGH Foundation is incredibly grateful to the Midland Civitan Club and its members for their continued dedication, community spirit and longstanding investment in excellent care close to home.

Thank you for showing, year after year, what it means to care for your community.
