St. Mary’s Women of Faith are making a meaningful impact close to home with a $1,000 donation to Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) in support of the We See You campaign.
The group, made up of dedicated women committed to serving their church, parish, and broader community, continues to give back through a range of fundraising and outreach initiatives. Their efforts support not only their faith community, but also local organizations and milestones, including graduations at St. Antoine Daniel Catholic School and St. Theresa’s High School.
This year, the organization selected the GBGH Foundation as a recipient of their charitable giving, recognizing the importance of accessible, high-quality health care in Victoria Harbour and surrounding communities.
“Our purpose is to support our community and church through fundraising and responding to local needs,” said Sandy Dupuis, President of St. Mary’s Women of Faith. “We are proud to contribute to our local hospital and the care it provides to so many.”
Funds raised have been directed to the hospital’s We See You campaign, which supports patient care and helps ensure GBGH can continue to meet the needs of the community. Learn more at WeSeeYouGBGH.ca.
