Fuel Your Hospital Fundraiser Returns This Weekend With Even Greater Impact!

Every drop counts this Civic Holiday weekend, as our incredible partners at Maple Leaf Marinas gear up once again to Fuel Your Hospital — an annual tradition of generosity that’s helping local hospitals like GBGH provide excellent care, close to home.

From Friday, August 1 to Monday, August 4, boaters across Central Ontario can make a difference simply by fueling up at any Maple Leaf Marinas location. For every litre of fuel pumped, up to 20¢ per litre will be donated to nearby hospitals, including Georgian Bay General Hospital.

Now in its 4th year, this inspiring initiative has already raised more than $116,000 for healthcare in our communities. And this summer, the goal is to push that number past $140,000!

What makes this fundraiser truly special is that every dollar stays local. Funds raised through marinas in our region come directly back to support critical equipment and technology at GBGH, helping ensure patients and families continue to receive safe, compassionate care when it matters most.

Whether you’re topping up before a weekend on the water or heading out for a quick sunset cruise, your fuel purchase is powering more than just your boat — it’s powering healthcare, right here at home.

  • Fill your tank. Fuel your hospital.
  • Visit any Maple Leaf Marinas location August 1–4.
  • Support local health care with every litre!
