On October 27, 2022, the Huronia Community Foundation presented a cheque to the GBGH Foundation on behalf of the J.J. & Lillian Gignac Fund. The $1,000 donation will be used to support the GBGH Foundation’s Impact Fund, which addresses the highest priority capital equipment and technology needs for Georgian Bay General Hospital. This year, some of the key equipment priorities are a bladder scanner for the ED & ICU, and a new ultrasound table & probes for Diagnostic Imaging.
The J.J. & Lillian Gignac fund was established by the Gignac family to honour their family member’s great contributions to this community.
