Maple Leaf Marinas’ Annual Fundraiser Powers Up Support for GBGH Foundation

This summer, our community once again showed how deeply they care about local healthcare, both on and off the water. Over the Civic Holiday long weekend, Maple Leaf Marinas’ 6th Annual Fuel Your Hospital Fundraiser raised an incredible $40,000 for six hospital foundations across Central Ontario which is double the original goal.

Thanks to the generosity of local boaters, community partners, and marina staff, $11,000 is supporting the GBGH Foundation, directly helping to enhance care and invest in vital equipment and technology for Georgian Bay General Hospital.

“Maple Leaf Marinas and their boating community continue to make an incredible impact on patient care at GBGH,” shares Robyn Blanchet, key relationships officer, GBGH Foundation. “Their support means our hospital can keep providing the excellent, personal care that patients and families count on.”

Since its launch in 2020, Fuel Your Hospital has raised more than $156,000 for local hospitals — including thousands for GBGH — ensuring that care close to home continues to grow stronger each year.

The GBGH Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to Maple Leaf Marinas, their generous partners, and every boater who fueled up to give back this summer.

Together, you’re fueling excellent care, one litre at a time.
