Michelle Feir Joins GBGH Foundation

The GBGH Foundation is pleased to welcome Michelle Feir to our team as Donor Relations and Stewardship Officer.

Michelle joined the Foundation on August 4, 2026, bringing with her five years of non-profit experience and a strong passion for building meaningful relationships within the community. Most recently, she served as Marketing and Promotions Coordinator at the Midland Cultural Centre, where she helped connect people with arts, culture, and community experiences that enrich lives. Her background in communications, community engagement, and relationship-building will be a tremendous asset as she helps strengthen connections with the generous donors who make excellent care possible close to home.

Originally from Moncton, New Brunswick, Michelle’s career has been shaped by both creativity and community. A graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, British Columbia, she has spent more than 15 years performing professionally as a singer-songwriter and musical theatre performer. She recently completed the Milan Art Institute’s fine art program and is continuing to build her professional art portfolio.

In her new role, Michelle will help ensure donors feel connected to the impact of their generosity through meaningful stewardship, recognition, and engagement opportunities. As the Foundation embarks on the next phase of the We See You campaign and supports priority healthcare needs at GBGH, Michelle’s passion for people and community will play an important role in helping donors see the difference they make.

“I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join the Foundation and work alongside such a passionate team. I’m looking forward to connecting with our donors, learning their stories, and celebrating the role they play in transforming healthcare in our community.”

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband, David, and their two young sons, Rowan and Jack. She is grateful to call Southern Georgian Bay home and is excited to contribute to a cause that touches so many lives throughout the region.

Please join us in giving Michelle a warm welcome to the GBGH Foundation team.
