When Oak Bay residents Liz & Larry Marshall were planning a corn roast for their neighbours, they learned that the SEGBAY Chamber of Commerce was hosting it’s annual golf tournament at their community golf club on the same day. Deciding to use their event to also benefit the community, Larry & Liz collected funds from their guests to support the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation (GBGHF), which was the primary beneficiary of the golf tournament.
In total, $700 was raised! Thank you Larry & Liz, and all your neighbours for your generous gift to your local hospital.
