For the past seven months, The Beer Store locations across Ontario have been offering their customers the option to donate the proceeds from the return of empty bottles and cans to local food banks and hospitals.
In Penetanguishene & Midland, thanks to the generosity of those in our community, $3,275 was raised for Georgian Bay General Hospital. These funds will be used to support the hospital’s COVID-19 preparedness and response efforts, including more than $500,000 invested in equipment and renovation.
