The entire team at Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) works hard, each and every day, to provide compassionate, patient-centred care for hundreds of individuals in our community.
In March 2022, local filmmaker Kevin Haire spent two days in the GBGH Emergency Department, shadowing RNs Joel Dupuis and Kaitlin Beauchamp, to help shine a light on the dedication and resilience of the entire GBGH ED Team. “We See You” is a documentary-style video that gives individuals in the community a new perspective on the challenges behind the scenes.
It is vital to understand that our hospital is working tirelessly to advocate for appropriate healthcare services in our community. In addition to addressing equitable access to care and the ongoing challenges of hallway medicine, the hospital’s priority is to align its services with community needs.
