Give Light on Giving Tuesday!

an old table top sized oil lamp with glass top lit up

Can you imagine working on something small and precise by the light of an old lamp?

Not ideal, right?

Well, our physicians in Ambulatory Care at GBGH have been performing very precise procedures with exam lights that are more than 25 years old!

Really not ideal…

The ‘Lumps & Bumps’ clinic at Georgian Bay General Hospital sees more than 50 patients every week! And this busy clinic needs a serious upgrade.

Not only do the outdated exam lights need to be replaced, but patients currently undergo their procedures on a stretcher, which often requires them to assume uncomfortable positioning during their appointment.

But YOU can help!

You can provide comfort to patients by investing in a power procedure table, which adjusts in a variety of ways with just the touch of a button. And, you can give light to our skilled physicians so they can provide the best possible outcomes with every operation.

And today, your donation will go even further!  Nick & Marina Boudouris (owners of OPA Catering, the World Famous Dock Lunch and Pier 21 Restaurant) have offered to match all donations* on this Giving Tuesday, so that your gift will go twice as far to help our patients today.

Will you give a gift of comfort and light for patients at GBGH?

Together, we can raise $34,000 today and invest in these vital pieces of equipment for GBGH.  Thank you for empowering our GBGH teams to deliver excellent health care.
