Pizza Hut / Osmow’s Owners Honour the People Who Care For Our Community

The Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) Foundation is proud to announce a Business Cares Strategic Partnership with Pizza Hut Midland / Penetanguishene and Osmow’s Midland, led by brothers Hardik and Himanshu Soni.

Through this partnership, the Soni brothers have committed $25,000 over five years to help strengthen health care at Georgian Bay General Hospital, supporting vital equipment, technology, and services that ensure patients receive the care they need, close to home.

“We’re truly honoured to support our local hospital and grateful to the doctors, nurses, and health care teams who show such dedication and compassion every day,” says Hardik. “They’re there for families during some of life’s most challenging moments.”

“As a family‑focused brand rooted in the community, giving back where it matters most is very important to us,” adds Himanshu. “Standing alongside those who provide comfort and care just feels right, and we hope to contribute to a healthier, stronger future for the families we serve. It’s our way of saying thank you and supporting the community that supports us.”

The Soni brothers own and operate several Pizza Hut locations across the region, including restaurants in Penetanguishene, Wasaga Beach, Owen Sound, Port Elgin, and Sault Ste. Marie, alongside Osmow’s Midland. Across each location, their focus remains the same: serving people, supporting their teams, and giving back to the communities that have supported their growth.

As Business Cares Strategic Partners, Pizza Hut Midland / Penetanguishene and Osmow’s Midland join the We See You campaign, a community‑driven effort to strengthen care at GBGH and ensure patients and families feel seen, supported, and cared for — inside and out.

“Hardik and Himanshu lead with heart, and their commitment reflects a genuine understanding of how important strong local health care is to families and communities,” says Robyn Kaczanowski, Community Giving Officer, GBGH Foundation. “Their initiative and desire to give back speaks volumes about the values behind their businesses and the kind of community leaders they are.”

The Soni brothers are also extending their support beyond their Business Cares commitment. On National Shawarma Day, October 15, 2026, customers visiting Osmow’s Midland will be invited to contribute to the GBGH Foundation’s We See You campaign through in-store donations. One of the restaurant’s busiest days of the year (featuring $5 menu items!), the annual celebration provides an opportunity for hundreds of guests to experience the culinary delights of shawarma, while supporting the hospital and people who care for our community.
