A special health care class at St. Theresa’s Catholic Secondary School took part in a special project to create and donate hygiene kits to local charities, including Georgian Bay General Hospital, Shelter Now, the Salvation Army, the Guesthouse Shelter, Huronia Pregnancy Resource Centre and Huronia Transition Homes. The class collected more than 1,000 hygiene items through donations from students, staff and some local businesses, and assembled more than 200 individual bags for the charities, which were delivered on Monday, December 16, 2019.
