We are pleased to announce that Lisa Wood is the successful candidate for the Communications Officer position with the GBGH Foundation. Lisa started with the team on Monday, May 26th.
As Communications Officer for the Foundation, Lisa brings a dynamic blend of heartfelt storytelling, design expertise, and community building to support local healthcare initiatives. A Dean’s List graduate from Georgian College’s three-year Graphic Design program, she also brings over a decade of experience in branding, digital marketing, project management, and strategic communications to the team.
Lisa has expressed her excitement about joining the GBGH Foundation: “I’m grateful to use my voice and creativity to share the stories that bring us together, strengthen our community, and support better access to quality care — right here at home.”
Purpose-driven and heart-led, Lisa is passionate about using authentic connection and real stories to inspire action, grow awareness, and build lasting donor relationships.
Originally from Waterloo, Lisa has called the Southern Georgian Bay area home since 2010. She now lives with her husband and two children in Tiny Township and loves the region for its natural beauty and sense of community. When she’s not crafting engaging campaigns, she can be found sipping tea lattes, snuggled up with a good book, or finding joy in the small, everyday moments with family and friends.
Please join us in extending a very warm welcome to Lisa.
