Celebrate and honour your little one on the GBGH Family Tree!
The birth of a child is a very special moment, and this wall celebrates babies born (or cared for) at GBGH. With a minimum donation of $100 to the GBGH Foundation, you can honour your child (or another special baby) within a beautiful Georgian Bay inspired image.
Baby’s name, birthdate and photo (if desired) will be displayed in a special place as an enduring reminder of this meaningful occasion.
For babies whose memories live on in the hearts of their families, a butterfly will be added to their place of honour.
Donations will support the growing birthing & obstetrics program at GBGH, ensuring the best possible care for our tiniest patients.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I donate any amount?
You can absolutely customize your gift amount as long as it meets the minimum donation of $100.
Will my baby’s photo be included on their acorn?
You can choose to include your baby’s photo on their acorn on the GBGH Family Tree. After you make your donation, a member of the Foundation team will reach out to get a digital photo.
Can my donation be made in memory?
Yes. When you make your donation online using the form below, you can let us know if the donation is being made in loving memory. Acorns in memory of babies who are no longer with us will be accompanied by a butterfly.
How will my donation be used?
Donations will support the growing birthing & obstetrics program at GBGH. If you would like to talk to someone about a different designation, please contact the Foundation office (foundation@gbgh.on.ca or 705-526-GIVE).
Where is the GBGH Family Tree located?
The digital baby recognition wall is located in the main lobby of GBGH, across from the Birthing Unit doors.
