December 3, 2022 would have been Celia Robinson’s 3rd birthday. To celebrate, the Robinson family (Mike & Melissa, and kids Bradley, Daxton and Isabella) visited the GBGH Foundation to make an incredible donation in her memory.
Each year, Melissa, along with some help from family & friends, hosts a virtual bake sale to raise funds to honour her daughter’s memory. This year, the sale raised $6,500, which will support the most critical equipment needs at Georgian Bay General Hospital. In total, over the past three years, the family has raised $21,000 in memory of Celia, and this special celebration of her birthday continues to have a profound impact on those who were involved in Celia’s care.
Celia Marie Robinson passed away at GBGH on Christmas Day 2019 from an undiagnosed genetic immunodeficiency. You can watch the Robinson family’s amazing story here.
