Heartfelt Thanks

A red cartoon heart with arms and legs and big eyes. It is wearing a pair of turquoise patterned mittens and a red touque with a white pom-pom.

Hi! I'm Georgia.

I’m a Heartfelt Thanks lapel pin!  It’s my job to make the nurses, doctors and staff at Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) feel loved and appreciated. But, I cannot do it without you!

Think back to your time at Georgian Bay General Hospital. Remember the moments of kindness, compassion, and expertise that your care team showed you. Wouldn’t it be great to show your favourite doctor, nurse or team member some love for the incredible work they do?

That’s where I come in!  When you make a tax-deductible donation of $25, $50, $75 – or any amount – in honour of a team member at GBGH, they will get a special certificate AND a snazzy little lapel pin (that’s me!) to wear around the hospital.  We will let them know that a gift has been made in their name (without mentioning the amount), and we will even add their name to a heart ornament on the holiday tree in the hospital lobby.

And, do you know what’s even better?  Your donation will make a difference in the lives of other patients and their families, making sure that the doctors and nurses at GBGH have the monitors, x-ray machines and lab testing equipment needed to provide excellent care for them too!
