On January 22, the North Simcoe Rotaract Club announced that the 2020 Mud Mayhem beneficiaries will be Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation and Bridget’s Bunnies! This year’s event will take place at Champlain Wendat Rotary Park in Penetanguishene on Saturday, May 9th.
What is Mud Mayhem?
Test your abilities and have fun while you walk, run , climb, or crawl through 5kms of amazingly muddy obstacles. The North Simcoe Rotaract Club invites you to join us on Saturday May 9th, 2020 at Parc Rotary Champlain Wendat Park, as we come together for fitness, wellness, and to support innovation and sustainability in our community.
Who benefits from Mud Mayhem?
This year, Mud Mayhem is supporting local innovation and sustainability. All proceeds will support both Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) Foundation and Bridget’s Bunnies. The GBGH Foundation will be dedicating funds towards the electronic record upgrade (Meditech Expanse) to improve the way patient information is shared between all hospital staff members and increase efficiency within the hospital. Bridget’s Bunnies will use funds to ensure no family endures pregnancy or infant loss alone by bringing their comfort kit program and raising awareness about the issue of pregnancy and infant loss at Georgian Bay General Hospital.
