About the event:
This year’s Power of Giving Gala will take place both virtually and in person on Saturday, September 16th along the beautiful waterfront of Thunder Beach. The Gala will aim to raise $305,000 for Georgian Bay General Hospital, through online auction, live fundraising, and sharing of heart-warming stories that demonstrate the incredible impact that community support has on our vital health centre. Tune in virtually from the comfort of your own home, or join us outdoors to enjoy live music, cocktails and hors-d’oeuvres, all in support of Georgian Bay General Hospital.
This year’s Gala will support the purchase of an MRI for GBGH, helping to bring access to care closer to home for thousands of people every year, locally reduce wait times (in our community and at neighbouring hospitals), and ensure your hospital has the latest technology to improve and save lives.
