On December 18, 2023, Tay Men Give selected the Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) Foundation as one of three recipients of their bi-annual donation. The $1,000 gift for GBGH will be invested in the MRI Fund, helping to bring this vital diagnostic service to the Midland hospital in 2025.
Tay Men Give meets twice a year to consider nominated charities. The group is currently comprised of 30 members who personally contribute $100 each meeting and members in attendance vote after hearing the charities speak. TMG started in the spring of 2019 with 20 members and has contributed over $24,000 to local charities.
