Our summers were spent sailing on beautiful Georgian Bay and we knew Midland would one day be our permanent home. Twenty-three years ago that dream became our reality. We were embraced by the warmth and support of the community, which immediately made us feel welcomed and part of somewhere special.
We have always believed that when you are a part of a community that offers so much opportunity, giving back, however you are able to, is important.
We also believe that the hospital is the heart of any community. This is why we choose to support Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH). GBGH serves the entire community without the support of government funding for capital equipment, so donating to our local hospital is integral in supporting patient care.
To ensure the hospital is able to continue their efforts in serving our community in the future, we are leaving a legacy gift in our wills to the GBGH Foundation.
When we updated our wills, we realized that a legacy gift would be an easy way to support our hospital when we are no longer here. Our legacy will ensure that our hospital will remain the centre of the community. It was a very simple process.
