During the August long weekend, Maple Leaf Marinas (BayPort Yachting Centre, Beacon Bay, Wye Heritage, South Bay Cove and Bluewater Lodge) came together once again to support the GBGH Foundation with their annual Fuel Your Hospital fundraiser. Maple Leaf Marinas, in partnership with Mayes Martin, generously donated 12 cents from every litre of fuel sold during the long weekend, as well sold promotional t-shirts.

The event raised an amazing $10,000 for the Foundation’s Kick Start Your Heart campaign, and have raised more than $45,000 over the past three years!

Special thanks to Pure Country 106 and BOUNCE 104.1 for their partnership for Kickstart Your Heart!



On September 2nd, Veronica Muise from Medical Aesthetics by Vee presented the GBGH Foundation with a generous donation of $315.84. This comes from her Business Cares initiative, where she donated 10% of sales on the booking of each Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler appointment.

Veronica Muise continues to be an amazing ambassador for our Business Cares program, helping more local businesses connect with the GBGH Foundation.

Jeff Holloway, Director

Jeff works at RBC Dominion Securities in Midland and joined RBC Wealth Management in 2014. In his current role, Jeff provides wealth management solutions to business owners, executives, professionals, and retirees.

Prior to working at RBC, Jeff was a partner at a leadership consulting firm and was a vice president at a Fortune 500 consulting company. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) while working for a multinational audit, tax, and consulting firm, he was the Controller at the National Hockey League Players’ Association.

Jeff was born in Kitchener-Waterloo and spent most of his childhood living in Owen Sound.  He moved to the Midland area full-time in 2019. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honors degree in Mathematics (Computer Science). Jeff also holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.

Jeff is very supportive of many worthwhile causes in our local community. Currently, he is the Treasurer for the Quest Art School and Gallery in Midland.
