Georgian Bay Physician Recruitment Georgian Bay is Calling with blue tree and teal water drawing to the left

The Celebration of Medicine is an opportunity for physicians in the North Simcoe community to get together for fun, food and fellowship.  The event raises important funds for Georgian Bay Physician Recruitment, and also honours physicians who have had a significant impact on our community’s health.

Date: Saturday, June 1, 2024
Venue: Midland Cultural Centre (333 King St, Midland)
Time: 6PM – 10PM

Cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and food stations from 6:00pm to 7:30pm provided by Feast Catering.
Formal program starting at 7:30pm, followed by live music at 8:15pm.

Admission is free with a minimum $75 donation (per guest), made using the form below. 

The tax receipt will be issued to name used for the donation (not additional ticket holders). If you would like to make an additional donation in support of Physician Recruitment, we welcome your generous support.



On January 17, 2024, the Boudouris Family hosted their Big Fat Greek Feast fundraising dinner at Pier 21 Restaurant in Penetanguishene, in support of Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH).

The sold out event featured an on-site Greek Sommelier, traditional Greek dishes, wine tasting, and a little dancing. The heartwarming evening raised an incredible total of $5,000 through ticket sales, being designated towards helping to bring an MRI machine to GBGH.

A big heartfelt thank you to Nick & Marina Boudouris and their team at Pier 21 for hosting the incredible evening, and to all guests in attendance!
