In order to support Georgian Bay General Hospital’s vision to provide Exceptional Care, Every Person, Every Time, we need to provide funding for the purchase of replacement and new equipment for patient care. But we cannot do that without you.
You can be part of strengthening local healthcare for our community – no event is too small to make a difference! Whether you want to celebrate a birthday in special way, hold a car wash or organize a walk for a meaningful cause – we are here to help make your idea a reality!
Here are just a few of the ways you can support us!
If you or someone you know is hosting a birthday or graduation party, a bridal shower, getting married, or any other life occasion, consider offering your “presence instead of presents” and donating to our Foundation in your or someone else's honour.
Galas, dinner parties, concerts, fashion shows, picnics, barbeques, the opportunities to have some fun while doing some good are endless!
Take a polar plunge, shave your head or perform at a coffee house…IF your friends and family reach your fundraising goal! Your courage is sure to inspire those around you – and you’ll get to try something new.
Organize a run or walk for a cause, a cycling event or a card tournament. Golf challenges, bowling night, scavenger hunts and more are all great opportunities to have fun while raising money for a great cause.
Do you have a product you are a master at making or a service you skilled at? Jewellery sales, garage sales, car washes, craft sales, yard work, the list goes on and on. Sell what you are great at and donate a portion or all of the proceeds to support local healthcare.
We would love to talk to you about your ideas!
Contact Victoria Evans, Community Giving Officer (evansv@gbgh.on.ca) or call 705-526-1300 ext. 5344, to share your ideas! We are here to support you every step of the way!
