Boaters Give Back: Hindson Marina Raises $2,500 for GBGH Foundation
The spirit of giving was alive and well at Hindson Marina’s annual End-of-Season Boater Party on September 13th, where more than 200 boaters gathered for an evening of community, connection, and celebration.
With entertainment from Kitty & The Boyz, raffle prizes, and plenty of waterfront fun, the event raised an impressive $2,500 in support of the Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) Foundation.
“We’re so proud to support the GBGH Foundation and the important role our local hospital plays in the community,” shared the team at Hindson Marina. “This hospital touches so many lives, including those of our staff, our boaters, and our families. It just makes sense to give back.”
Proceeds from the event will support the Foundation’s We See You Campaign, helping address the hospital’s most urgent needs, such as vital medical equipment and technology that enhances patient care across departments.
“We’re incredibly grateful to the Hindson Marina team and their boating community for their ongoing generosity,” says Robyn Kaczanowski, community giving officer, GBGH Foundation. “Their support helps ensure that patients across North Simcoe continue to receive excellent, compassionate care close to home.”
