Mental health remains a cornerstone of the We See You campaign.
The Foundation has reserved $10-million to support expanded mental health services and space at GBGH once provincial approvals are granted. Together, we’re ready to move forward when the time comes.
Mental health challenges affect all of us—parents, children, neighbours, colleagues, and friends. And right now, our region is in crisis. At Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH), we care for more than 1,000 patients struggling with their mental health every year. That’s nearly three people in crisis every single day. But despite the growing need, our hospital isn’t equipped or funded to provide acute mental health care.
